Credits Taken together, the company’s dancers have thousands of performances all around Sweden to their credit, of various lengths and under a variety of circumstances—in mirrored dance studios and dusty cellars, outdoor marketplaces and elegant nightclubs. Among the many venues, those in Stockholm include China Theater, Concert House (Konserthuset), Berns, Berwaldhallen, Nalen, Gröna Lund, Skansen, Börsen, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, American Embassy, PUB, NK and hundreds of company kick-offs. International festivals include those in Molde, Norway and Breda, Netherlands. In 2003, the company appeared by special invitation in the Harlem Jazz Festival in New York, as distinguished trustee of the African-American cultural heritage. International Since 1988, Harlem Hot Shots company members have frequently performed in theaters, restaurants and nightclubs throughout Europe and on other continents. These include Moskovskaya Hotel (Saint Petersburg), Riverside Studios (London), Theaterhaus Gessneralle (Zürich), Metaphore (Budapest), AIDA Cruise Ship (Caribbean), Apollo Theater (New York), Glen Echo Ballroom (Washington, DC), Residence Inn (Las Vegas), MGM Studios (Hollywood), Disneyland (Los Angeles), Catalina Casino (Catalina Island) and Chijmes Hall (Singapore). Company members have also toured the USA extensively in their own productions and have performed in a total of some 50 cities throughout Europe. Harlem Hot Shots was also exclusively invited to perform at the 2004 Basie Centennial Ball in New York and during February – March 2006 the company toured in Asia for six weeks including performances Australia, Singapore, Japan, China and South Korea Television Over the years, members of the Harlem Hot Shots have appeared in more than 30 productions on Swedish TV, as well as in television programs in Lithuania, Russia, Germany, Ukraine, England, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Singapore and the USA.
